Based in Reno, Nevada, Douglas is the owner of CutThroat Barbershop Reno and Hollow Ground Barbering. As an educator, he is passionate about passing down the meticulous standards of Sassoon-inspired methodology to elevate the next generation of hair professionals. With over 16 years of experience behind the chair, Shon Lawhon brings a high level of discipline and technical mastery to The Cutthroat Barbershop in downtown Reno. A United States Navy combat veteran, Shon carries the values of reliability and consistency into every service.

Shon is a classically trained, traditional barber. He specializes in time-honored techniques, including:
